Responsibilities
Perform incoming inspection of purchased components, materials, assemblies, and fabricated parts; Operate Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) equipment to inspect complex mechanical components; Review engineering drawings, CAD models, specifications, and inspection plans; Conduct dimensional, visual, and documentation inspections; Document inspection results and maintain accurate records; Identify, document, and escalate non-conforming materials; Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams; Support first article inspections (FAI) and source inspections; Develop and maintain inspection procedures, checklists, and standard work instructions; Assist with calibration, maintenance, and verification of inspection equipment; Analyze inspection data and identify trends; Maintain organized inspection areas and adhere to 5S, safety, and quality standards; Ensure compliance with company quality requirements, engineering specifications, and regulatory standards; Support production schedules by ensuring timely inspection and disposition of incoming materials
