Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive Test & Evaluation Plans, Verification Cross Reference Matrices, and Design Verification Plans & Reports; Own HITL test architectures and execute functional qualification testing; Design and build specialized test fixtures and mechanical rigs; Lead hands-on integration, environmental validation, and troubleshooting on the production floor and during on-water trials; Select, calibrate, and install instrumentation to acquire and process empirical test data; Lead investigations into hardware anomalies and drive corrective design actions; Interface with component suppliers and program leadership to close verification across the system lifecycle; Mentor junior engineers and technicians to scale the test team.
