Responsibilities
Develop new CFD solutions in partnership with academic and technology partners; Provide CFD technical leadership to new research programs; Work closely with team members to develop OpenFOAM methods, processes and workflows; Develop and implement mesh, solver and post-processing methodologies to improve efficiency; Support and optimise CFD tools including monitoring and resolving issues; Ensure CFD simulations are aligned with commercial tool capabilities; Conduct research and analysis of energy usage for different scenarios; Write reports mapping total energy usage; Publish papers and support documentation.
