Responsibilities
Provide professional and clinical oversight of Medical Microbiology to ensure safe, timely, and accurate diagnostic services; Lead the development, implementation, and review of microbiology workflows, policies, and protocols; Oversee quality assurance, laboratory accreditation activities, and continuous quality improvement initiatives; Participate in institutional programmes relating to Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) and Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS); Contribute to the training and supervision of medical officers, residents, and laboratory technologists; Participate in relevant clinical research, audits, and scholarly activities.
