Responsibilities
Provide consultant-led gastroenterology services across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care settings; Deliver high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy in accordance with JAG standards; Lead and contribute to the development of advanced endoscopy services; Participate in endoscopy MDTs and collaborate with colorectal surgery, hepatobiliary services, radiology, pathology, and oncology teams; Support service planning and innovation to improve efficiency and clinical outcomes; Participate in gastroenterology and endoscopy on-call arrangements; Contribute to endoscopy training for trainees and fellows; Undertake clinical governance, audit, research, and quality improvement activities.
