Responsibilities
Restock merchandise to ensure maximum sales, ensure stock is stored and packed correctly, check sell-by dates, maintain full product range on shelves, rotate stock on a FIFO basis, report low stock and damaged items, assist with stocktaking, adhere to store layout and planograms, flatten boxes after unpacking, present shelves neatly with correct labels and pricing, report price discrepancies, keep abreast of new products, build and maintain merchandising displays, maintain daily physical upkeep of store and displays, assist with loading and off-loading stock, mark items without barcodes, assist with back shopping, assist in training new staff, provide customer assistance and resolve stock queries, wear correct uniform and badge, minimize losses by handling merchandise carefully, adhere to policies and health and safety rules.
