Responsibilities
Lead and review instrumentation detail design deliverables (index, datasheets, loop diagrams, cable schedules); Develop and review P&IDs, control philosophies, and design basis for offshore facilities; Ensure design compliance with international standards (IEC, ISA, API, ISO) and hazardous area requirements; Review and approve instrument sizing and selection for flow, level, pressure, temperature, analyzers, control valves, PSVs, and F&G devices; Support SIL studies and implement outcomes in design; Specify and review control and safety systems and their interfaces; Provide site engineering support during construction, installation, and hook-up including resolving RFIs and NCRs; Lead loop checks, calibration, pre-commissioning, and commissioning support; Coordinate with construction, commissioning, and QA/QC teams; Plan, monitor, and report discipline progress, man-hours, and budget; Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers.
