Responsibilities
Lead and coach production employees to meet safety, quality, and delivery objectives; Plan and coordinate daily production activities based on demand and schedules; Monitor production performance and KPIs including scrap, downtime, and throughput; Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions; Coordinate with Maintenance for equipment breakdowns and preventative maintenance; Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives like 5S and waste reduction; Train and cross-train employees for operational flexibility; Conduct shift meetings and ensure effective handoffs; Enforce safety policies and company procedures; Assist with employee performance management and scheduling.
