Lead a team of Biostatistician Managers and oversee statistical deliverables across a broad research area. Serve as a primary statistical contact for clients on large projects. Manage statistical resources, including budgets and personnel. Develop the strategic vision and priorities for the biostatistics department. Act as an internal point of contact for corporate and senior project staff regarding statistical activities. Participate in recruitment activities, candidate evaluation, and hiring decisions. Provide expert statistical consultation across clinical research projects. Supervise and mentor senior statistical professionals. Represent the organization in sponsor, regulatory, investigator, and safety review meetings. Establish statistical budgets for new project opportunities. Identify statistical and operational challenges and drive effective resolution. Prepare, review, and approve clinical project materials requiring statistical input. Review processes, schedules, checklists, and SOP-driven activities. Participate in corporate and project-level quality assurance activities. Ensure project staff receive appropriate training and mentoring. Provide regular project updates to the Director of Biostatistics.
