Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy complex, interactive, user-friendly enterprise reports with Telerik Report Designer. Write, optimize, and maintain SQL Server queries, stored procedures, views, and data models for reporting. Integrate reports with existing application frameworks, including .NET web applications, APIs, and scheduled distribution pipelines. Turn business needs into data visualizations, dashboards, and automated report schedules. Administer Mi-Cases Telerik Report Servers, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and version migrations. Maintain and secure report server environments through software updates, patching, access controls, role permissions, scheduled tasks, data connections, and distribution lists. Monitor server performance, diagnose rendering problems, and improve report execution times. Administer the Windows Server environments hosting Telerik Report Server, including OS patching, service management, and performance tuning. Configure and troubleshoot IIS components, including application pools, site bindings, SSL certificates, and site recycling; review Windows Event Logs and Performance Monitor to address issues proactively. Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate server and IIS administration, patch management, and routine maintenance. Provision and maintain Telerik Report Server instances in AWS, working with services and components including EC2, EBS, RDS, VPC security groups, ELB, CloudWatch, IAM, and S3. Implement backups, disaster recovery, and failover strategies for Telerik databases and application servers, including AWS Backup and EBS snapshots. Establish monitoring, alerts, and log management to support high availability and fast issue resolution. Coordinate with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to align report server environments with corporate security and networking standards. Use Anthropic Claude or similar LLM tools to accelerate code generation, query optimization, documentation, and report template development.
