Responsibilities
Provision and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform; manage Amazon EKS clusters, networking, and node groups; administer Kubernetes resources (deployments, services, RBAC); monitor and troubleshoot production systems using CloudWatch; containerize and deploy applications using ECS and Lambda; deploy across dev, staging, and prod environments; troubleshoot deployment issues and improve pipeline performance; perform daily health checks using AWS CLI or Lambda scripts; collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support stateless applications; enhance ECS environments for scalability and observability; improve container orchestration through auto-scaling and rolling deployments; support feature branch testing and artifact promotion workflows; enforce pipeline security and compliance through automated code scanning; remediate OS-level, container, and dependency vulnerabilities; orchestrate failover and restoration for ECS, EKS, Lambda, and databases; test and document regional failover playbooks; diagnose and resolve production issues across cloud services and pipelines; automate operational tasks to reduce on-call fatigue; log incidents and operational metrics; follow and refine incident response playbooks.
